Following an outage that impacted users worldwide, the messaging service WhatsApp is again operational once more.
WhatsApp’s parent company, Meta, stated that the issue had been resolved but did not provide an explanation.
Just before 08:00 BST, users of WhatsApp, which has around two billion users worldwide, started to report problems with sending and receiving messages.
According to the service status website Down Detector, more than 12,000 reports were logged in less than 30 minutes.
However, service appeared to be restoring for many customers around 10:00 BST.
