OnePlus’ 8 series 2020 devices get the long-awaited Oxygen OS 13 update.

OnePlus unveiled the Oxygen OS 13 beta based on Android 13 in August, giving OnePlus and 10T owners a taste of the latest skin. Owners of old flagships can now finally have stable versions onboard.

OnePlus is now introducing his stable Oxygen OS 13 to the OnePlus 8 series.
This update includes Android 13, the new Aquamorph design, language, and more.
Other OnePlus phones including the 10R, 9R and 9RT also received updates this week.

OnePlus 8 series users on Reddit and official forums have noticed that the device has the stable Oxygen OS 13. These include the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8T. This rollout comes right after OnePlus pushed its latest Oxygen OS release to his OnePlus 9 series.

So what are users looking forward to? The changelog calls for a move to Android 13. This includes a new “aquamorphic design“, improved efficiency, improved connectivity, personalization and security tweaks, and more.

As per usual in a forum post, OnePlus has yet to officially confirm the rollout to its flagship product in 2020, and not all users have received the update. If not, don’t worry. Expect more information from the company in the coming days.
