We have some great news coming in the upcoming updates of WhatsApp Beta for Android, iOS and Desktop. After WhatsApp announced that it was developing several important features such as Beta. Ability to edit text messages. The company is currently working on a feature to hide your online status for a future update of the app.

Last Seen Feature

WhatsApp now allows you to control who can see your last seen status. But users want more, like the ability to hide their online status when online. We’ve finally listened to user feedback by starting to develop privacy options. The “Hide Online Status” setting was discovered in WhatsApp’s beta iOS app.

As shown in the image above, you can share your online status with everyone or with anyone who can see your last seen status. If you choose the latter, you should select the “as last seen” option. Note that if you prevent other users from seeing your last online status and your online status, you will not be able to see other users’ statuses either.

Available for IOS and Android

Despite being spotted in the iOS app WhatsApp Beta, the publisher claims the new privacy settings will also be coming to Android and desktop clients in the future. The publisher hasn’t shared anything about when it will arrive, but it’s possible  beta testers will be available Notified first. A new feature has been added.

Please Note that Whatsapp plan to roll out the same functionality in future updates of WhatsApp Beta for Android and Desktop Beta. Even if the screenshot was taken during the development of WhatsApp Beta for iOS.
